Total Cooking Surface:

45 sq. ft.

Pit (Reverse Flow):

Total pit measures 12' long and 30” wide. It consists of a 7' long main chamber that’s 30" in diameter. Two cooking doors with counterweights make opening a breeze. Two slide out cooking racks per door measuring 32” by 30” and 32” by 25” giving you right at 25 square feet of cooking surface. The pit is designed with industry standard Reverse Flow. The baffles are made in separate pieces for adjustability. No more hot spots… Contact me if you’d like a description of its characteristics. I have also taken this concept a step farther and made the reverse flow baffles removable. This makes cleaning a lot easier. There are 2 stacks with rain caps set to pull the heat out at “cooking grate level.” They are 4.5” in diameter and measure 4' long. Setting them at the same level as the cooking racks keeps the heat in the cooking chamber longer making the pit burn less wood and making the stacks 4ft long allows for a more sustained draw of smoke from the cooking chamber. The pit has a 30” long by 30” wide firebox with (3) 6” by 4” vents for ample airflow and cooking heat. Smoker Sitting on top of the firebox is a 24” diameter by 3.5' tall smoker. It is connected to the main chamber by a 6” by 4” vent that can be opened for smoking or shut off completely turning the smoker into a warmer. Inside the smoker are 4 removable cooking racks that have a combined cooking surface of about 9 square feet. The smoker has its own temp. gauge, 3.5” stack and spring steel handles. Welded on the front of the main cooking chamber is a 3.5' long by 2' diameter Charcoal Grill. It is connected to the main chamber via a 6” by 4” vent that can be opened or shut. The Charcoal grill contains 2 cooking racks, 30” by 23” and 30” by 18” for a total grilling surface of around 9 square feet. The grill has an adjustable charcoal tray measuring 2' long by 1ft wide and its own 6” by 4” vent to feed the charcoal fire. Finally it has twin 3.5” diameter stacks with ran caps. See photos.

Stainless Steel cooking racks quoted on request!!!

Pit Note:

If you decide to use the entire pit surfaces to cook using the firebox you have a grand total of 45 sq ft of cooking surface.

The roof and right and left side awnings do come with this listing. contact me if you need any clarification on this.

Misc:

All doors and firebox door are lined with flat-strap for less heat escape. Spring handles on vents and doors to keep hands from getting burned etc. Temp gauges, and 10” shelf around the pit etc. 1200-degree high heat paint. Personally pre-seasoned with Pecan wood.

Conclusions:

All in all this is a very efficient unit. The main chamber and firebox are constructed from ¼” steel. It will last a very long time and holds heat better than any I’ve seen. The reverse flow system, smoker, front charcoal grill, counter-weighted doors, and dual stacks at grate level, all make these pits one of a kind and a super flexible cooking unit. Lots of storage both outside and enclosed… No quality is lost.

Bonus:

I can have your initials, ranch brand, or logo cut out with a computer driven plasma cutter and suspended on top of the pit for an added touch of personalization. Contact me for details.
